1. Cookies we set: none
A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser so it can recognise you later. This site doesn't need to recognise you. There's no login, no shopping basket, no advertising and no analytics, so we set zero cookies. Because of that, there is no cookie banner either; the Danish cookie rules only require consent for storage that isn't strictly necessary, and we have nothing to ask consent for by default.
2. What we store on your device
One small note may be written to your browser's local storage. Local storage is like a sticky note that stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.
| Name | What it does | Set when | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
cb_spotify_ok |
Remembers that you chose to load the Spotify player, so we don't ask again | Only if you tick "Remember on this device" when loading the player | Until you clear it (button below) or clear your browser data |
It is functional storage for something you explicitly asked the site to do, which the ePrivacy rules exempt from consent. We still tell you, because that's the point.
3. The Spotify player
Each episode page can show Spotify's embedded player. That player is loaded from Spotify's servers, and once loaded Spotify can set its own cookies and see your IP address, exactly as if you visited spotify.com. We don't control those cookies and can't see them.
That's why the player doesn't load until you click "Load Spotify player". Until then, the episode page is entirely served by us. Clicking the button is your consent to Spotify's cookies for that session; ticking "Remember on this device" stores the note described above so you aren't asked every time. What Spotify does with its cookies is described in Spotify's cookie policy.
4. Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted by Netlify. Serving a page means Netlify sees your IP address in its server logs, which is unavoidable for any website and covered in our privacy policy. Netlify sets no cookies for a static site like this one.
Fonts and animation scripts are hosted by us, on this domain. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any content delivery network to display this site.
5. Your choices
To take back the Spotify choice on this device:
You can also clear local storage and cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can block third-party cookies entirely; the site keeps working, the player just asks every time.
In one line
No cookies from us, no tracking, one optional third party that waits for your click.
